Saucy Blueberries
Do you need a way to justify a bowl of your favorite vanilla ice cream? Well how about an easy to make blueberry sauce? Of course you should pick a high quality ice cream, preferably one with just the basic ingredients, heavy cream and/or milk, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla! What the blueberry, just make your own ice cream and chalk up the effort as exercise! (Even if you have an electric ice cream maker!

- 2 tblspn brown sugar
- 2 tblspn cornstarch
- 1 lb frozen blueberries
- In medium saucepan, stir 2 tablespoons sugar and cornstarch together until blended
- Add frozen berries, toss until uniformly coated
- Cover and cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries thaw and the mixture starts to boil, 5 to 7 minutes

- You can stir in additional sugar if desired. On the other hand, a high quality ice cream will bring all the sweetness you need to the blueberry sauce!
