From the heart of North Carolina, Brie and Blueberries! How about a sweet white wine to cleanse the palette?!
Baked Brie with Blueberries
Baked Brie with Blueberries as submitted by E. Watson of Nashville, North Carolina
- 2 tbsp red pepper jelly
- 1 tbsp minced fresh jalapeño
- 2 tsp spicy brown mustard
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- salt (pinch)
- pepper (pinch)
- 1 8oz Brie cheese (round wooden packaging for best results.)
- Crackers (Your favorite with cheese!)
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a bowl, mix together the red pepper jelly,
jalapeño, mustard, salt, and pepper. - Toss the blueberries with the
pepper jelly mixture. - Remove the wrapping from the Brie round and cut off the rind from the top.
- Return the Brie to the wooden box.
- Place the Brie on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the brie from the oven and top with the blueberries.
- Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve with crackers.
