2014 North Carolina blueberry harvest begins

Bountiful berry harvest may set new record!
Blueberries are finally being harvested in North Carolina! The 2014 blueberry harvest is expected to be one of the largest ever! If not already, you should be seeing fresh North Carolina blueberries in local stores in a few days.

With the early varieties being harvested so late, it is hopeful that there will be a long season for blueberries this year. We are hoping for great weather that will allow blueberries to get from field to store as fast as possible!
