One again the North Carolina Blueberry Council, Inc. Has partnered with “Our State” magazine to find the best blueberry recipes! This year the prizes are bigger, so get over to Our State magazine and submit your recipe and photo! Safe for all that the webmaster can’t submit his latest, greatest, and by all accounts, easiest way to creatively use blueberries! Organic Apple-Blueberry Sauce Dip
– 1 Jar favorite organic, unsweetened apple sauce
– 2 cup frozen organic blueberries
– 1 8 to 10 oz bag thick cut kettle potato or sweet potato chips
Mix blueberries into apple sauce.
Eat
If no silverware, use potato chip!
The mission was to use extend the last cup in a bag of organic blueberries. Simply stirred the blueberries into the apple sauce and was eating away until the assistant chef dipped her kettle potato chips in to intercept a blueberry.
Fortunately this tasty mix of blueberries, apple sauce and kettle-cooked blueberries cannot be submitted due the source, but surely you can do better and maybe even win a big fact cash prize along the way!
