This blueberry apple bake is a simple, tasty and an extremely healthy way to enjoy your favorite little blue dynamo! This recipe has no added sugar and can be both homey and elegant! Dress it up with your imagination or a pretty bowl.

  1. Prepare!
  2. With paring knife or apple corer, remove core from apples
  3. Carefully peel 1/3 to 1/2 of top of apple - Set aside
  4. In small bowl toss ground cinnamon and dried fruit - Set aside
  5. In four microwave-safe bowls large enough for apples, place two tablespoons each of blueberries and apple juice**
  6. Place prepared apples on top of blueberries and evenly divide dried fruit mixture into the cavities and around the apples
  7. Loosely cover each apple with plastic wrap or waxed paper
  8. Microwave until apples are tender, about 6 to 8 minutes
  9. Allow to cool
  10. Cover and refrigerate, if desired
  11. Serve warm or cold for breakfast, snack or dessert
