Record Submission of Recipes To 2014 Blueberry Contest

Our State’s Magazine and The North Carolina Blueberry Council, Inc. are proud to share the 2014 Blueberry Recipe Collection. All the wonderful submissions by blueberry lovers made it hard to decide the winners and then which recipes to include in the final collection. This year’s contest stepped up the qualifications by requiring a photograph, but that did not deter as we had a record amount of submissions!

We congratulate first place winner Lauren Wyler of Dripping Springs, TX. She took home the $500 Grand Prize. Her recipe “Blueberry Brie Stuffed French Toast with Blueberry Rosemary Syrup is featured this month!

Second Place went to Mary Leverette of Columbia South Carolina for her “Blue Lips Chicken Wings”

Third Place went to Emily Denneby of Charlotte, North Carolina for her submission of “Lemon Blueberry Thyme Muffins”.

We thank all that contributed their recipes and photographs which will help us share the goodness of blueberries!
